Frequently asked questions
- Do these QR codes expire?
- No. The code encodes your content directly, with no redirect service in between. It will keep working for as long as the thing it points to exists.
- Which error-correction level should I choose?
- Medium suits screens and clean printing. Choose High for stickers, labels or anything that may get scratched, scuffed or partly covered — the code stays readable with up to 30% damage.
- Does the WiFi code work on every phone?
- iOS and Android both support the WIFI: format from the camera. Special characters in your network name or password are escaped, which is a common reason other generators produce codes that fail.
- Is my data sent anywhere?
- No. The code is generated in your browser, so WiFi passwords never leave your device.
