How to use
- Drop in up to 20 photos. They stay on your device.
- Set the aspect ratio, maximum width, quality and output format — every photo re-encodes as you change them.
- Turn on watermark removal if the photos came from Gemini. If it misses the mark, drag a box around it yourself; if it removes the wrong thing, undo it.
- Crop any individual photo to override the ratio, then download one or all.
Features
- Batch of up to 20 photos, each re-encoded live as settings change.
- Per-photo manual cropping that overrides the global aspect ratio.
- Optional Gemini watermark removal, with the detected area marked on the result.
- Point at a mark the detector missed, and undo one it should not have removed.
- Stepped downscaling for sharper results than a single canvas draw.
- Runs entirely in your browser; no photo is ever uploaded.
Frequently asked questions
- Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
- No. Decoding, cropping, watermark removal and encoding all happen in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, which is what makes this safe for photos you have not published yet.
- How does the watermark removal work?
- It looks for the Gemini corner badge and reverses the alpha blend that drew it, restoring the pixels underneath. It runs at full resolution before any crop or resize, because the detector anchors off the original dimensions. If no badge is found the photo passes through untouched, and the result is labelled so you can tell the two cases apart.
- Why did it say no watermark was found?
- Either the image has no Gemini badge, or the badge has already been cropped, resized or covered. The detector matches a known set of badge sizes against the original frame; a photo that has been through another editor first may no longer match. When that happens, choose "Pick it myself" and drag a box around the mark on the Before image — the tool then searches inside your box instead of the whole frame.
- It removed something that was not a watermark. Can I get it back?
- Yes. Every removal shows "Undo" next to the result, which re-encodes that photo from the original — nothing is lost, because the source file is never modified. Detection is imperfect in both directions, so the edit is always reversible and the area it acted on is outlined on the preview.
- Should I choose WebP or JPEG?
- WebP is smaller at the same visual quality and supports transparency, so it is the better default for the web. Choose JPEG if you need to hand the file to something old that cannot read WebP.
- What does maximum width do?
- It scales a photo down so its width never exceeds the value you set. Photos already narrower are left alone — upscaling only adds bytes without adding detail.
