Frequently asked questions
- Why did my image not reach the exact size I typed?
- With the ratio locked, both numbers are treated as a box and the image is fitted inside it rather than distorted. Unlock the ratio to force exact dimensions.
- Can I enlarge a small image?
- You can, but a browser cannot invent detail that is not there. Enlarging beyond the original size will look soft.
- Does resizing change the format?
- PNG stays PNG so transparency survives; everything else is written as JPEG.
